  • 6 white peaches
  • 1-2 tbsp. of sugar, depending on sweetness
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 limes
Drink (for 1 person):
  • 1 oz. (2 tbsp.) of peach puree
  • 1 oz. (2 tbsp.) of peach vodka, such as absolut
  • 1 tsp. lime juice

Wash and pit your peaches. Leave the skin on.

To make the puree, chop up your peaches and pour them into a large pot. Add the sugar, water, and the juice of 2 limes. Simmer over medium heat until the fruit is soft and broken down. This should take about about 20 minutes.

Transfer to a food processor or blender and puree until smooth. If you want a smooth puree, strain the mixture. This step is optional. Set aside to cool.

Fill a large glass with ice. Stir in your peach puree and vodka. Add a splash of club soda and lime juice, and give it a taste. Adjust to your liking.

Garnish with mint and extra lime.

#4 Watermelon Sugar

Recipe courtesy of www.bonappetit.com

  • 1 jalapeño, halved lengthwise
  • 3/4 cup tequila blanco
    • 2 cups 3/4' cubes seedles watermelon
    • 6 tablespoons fresh lime juice
    • 6 tablespoons Simple Syrup
    • 1/4 cup mezcal or gold tequila

Scrape stems, seeds, and veins from jalapeño into a small jar (reserve green flesh for another use).

Add the tequila; cover and let infuse for 15 minutes.

Set a strainer over a small bowl. Pour tequila through strainer and discard solids.

Place the watermelon cubes in a large pitcher. Using a muddler or potato masher, coarsely crush watermelon.

Stir in the lime juice, Simple Syrup, mescal, jalapeño tequila and 2 cups of ice.

Cover and refrigerate until chilled, about 2 hours.

Fill Old Fashioned glasses with ice. Divide cocktail among glasses and serve.

    #5 Melon Sangria

    Recipe courtesy of laylita.com

    • 3 cups of mixed melon balls (watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew)
    • 2-4 tablespoons of honey, adjust to taste
    • 1 lime, juiced
    • ¼ cup to ½ cup of grappa, adjust to taste – can also use pisco or a clear grape brandy
    • 1 (750 ml) bottle of moscato wine, chilled
    • 1 ½ cups of sparkling water, chilled

Place the melon balls in a large pitcher, add the honey (2 tablespoons to start), lime juice, and ¼ cup of grappa. Mix gently and let rest in fridge for 1-2 hours or until 1 hour before serving.

Add the moscato wine, mix gently, taste and add more honey or grappa if desired. Keep in mind that you will top it off with sparkling water right before serving, so it’s okay if it’s on the sweeter/stronger side. Refrigerate for another hour.

Right before serving, add ice (or frozen melon balls as ice cubes), lime slices and mint leaves to garnish, and top off with sparkling water. You can prepare the final mix in the pitcher or serve it directly into glasses with melon ice cubes and top off each glass with the sparkling water.
